Learn how to restore single unit implants. This course has a heavy emphasis on hands-on training, to simulate a wide variety of clinical situations and problems.

Learning Outcomes

Upon completion you should be able to:

Apply knowledge of prosthetic componentry to design appropriate prosthetic stacks for successful implant restoration.

Apply knowledge of biology and biomechanics to design successful single unit implant restorations.

Use digital and physical transfer records to allow for design and construction of implant prostheses.

Use CAD techniques to design single unit implant prostheses.

Insert and assess single unit implant restorations.

Maintain patients’ dentition following implant treatment

Exercise 1 – Physical transfer techniques

Exercise 2 – Digital transfer techniques

Exercise 3 – Implant crown design

Exercise 4 – Implant crown insertion techniques

Exercise 5 – Assessment and troubleshooting implant crowns
